Bio

I grew up in a strong family, leading to my basketball and high academic achievement values. My father, an immigrant from Mexico, is 6’8” and played basketball at the University of Delaware for Mike Brey. My mother ran cross country at Dartmouth. My grandfather played professional basketball in Mexico. I have an older brother at Imperial College London, and a younger brother in high school class of 2027. Associated with my mother’s job, my family spent 2020 to 2022 living in Madrid, Spain and I attended 7th and 8th grades there at the American School of Madrid. During that time I joined a local select club team to develop my basketball skills more than I could have playing for ASM. This meant that I had to take the Metro by myself across the city to get to practices, and I had to learn Spanish through total immersion. (I’ve always valued and loved basketball enough to do whatever it takes to play my best.) I am a citizen of the US, Mexico, and Germany, and I am now fully fluent in Spanish.
